Last week, I made a little tutorial to make crocheted April fool’s day fishes. Today I regret to inform you that they’ve been eaten by a much bigger creature… And I have to admit I had a lot of fun making it, and photographing the flagrante delicto !
But let me tell you the story of Wally the Walrus.
Wally begins his day with some fishing…
The tiniest fished are eaten right away…
While the biggest are cooked with love.
Once the meal is done, Wally gets changed…
As a Beatles fan, every night, he wears his most beautiful suit to go dancing !
Dancing gives you real appetite, but Wally is prepared…
Ans his meal is never far away !
I am the Eggman, you are the Eggmen
I am the Walrus, Goo, Goo, G’joob !
Don’t ask where this came from… I have no idea :D

To make Wally the walrus, I used Bob the beaver pattern by Illdikko as a base (logic !), it can be bought in her Etsy shop and it’s also a pattern of the book Amigurumi animals at work. (non-affiliated links)

this is a super cool project and i’m making it for a friend for his birthday :) just one question: how do you make the sign?
Hi Jay, it’s just a little piece of cardboard that I wrote on and attached to a long chain :) Happy crocheting !
